In Thursday's non-league outing, the host Parkwood Wolf Pack soccer squad scored a tight 2-0 victory over the Queen's Grant Stallions.
The Wolf Pack (3-3) will now prepare for their outing against Central Academy (Monroe, NC). The Cougars go into the Rocky River 2A/3A outing with a 1-4 record. In their last outing, Central Academy got by Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC), 6-0, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Stallions confront the Charlotte Lab School Lions (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league outing, on Monday, September 9. Queen's Grant will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Lions go into the outing with a 0-1 record after their 5-1 non-league loss to Sugar Creek (Charlotte, NC).
