Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Southeast Golden Buffalo (Wichita, KS) and the host Trinity Academy Knights (Wichita, KS), saw Southeast's soccer squad hold off Trinity Academy by a count of 3-2.

The Golden Buffalo (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Classical (Wichita, KS). The Saints enter the non-league battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Classical tipped Heritage Christian Academy (Olathe, KS), 5-0, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Knights battle the Andover Central Jaguars (Andover, KS) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 10. Trinity Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Jaguars enter the battle with a 0-1 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Kapaun Mt. Carmel (Wichita, KS).
