The Lookeba-Sickles Panthers (Lookeba, OK) softball edged the host Apache Warriors (Apache, OK), 3-2 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Panthers meet the Cyril Pirates (Cyril, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 6. Lookeba-Sickles will attempt to upgrade on its 16-3 season record. The Pirates enter the challenge with a 13-4 record after their 14-1 non-league win over Lawton (Lawton, OK).
The Warriors (13-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Hydro-Eakly (Hydro, OK). The Bobcats enter the non-league challenge with a 7-9 record. In their last challenge, Hydro-Eakly was nudged by Ripley (Ripley, OK), 9-4, in a league challenge.
