The Tushka Tigers edged the visiting Atoka Wampus Cats softball squad by a count of 2-1 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Tigers meet the Broken Bow Savages (Broken Bow, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 10. Tushka will attempt to upgrade on its 20-3 season record. The Savages enter the challenge with a 10-4 record after their 2-0 league loss to Fort Gibson (Fort Gibson, OK).
The Wampus Cats (7-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Latta (Ada, OK). The Panthers enter the non-league challenge with a 12-3 record. In their last challenge, Latta edged Kiowa (Kiowa, OK), 9-1, in a non-league challenge.
