The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Blanchard Lions (Blanchard, OK) and the host Eisenhower Eagles (Lawton, OK), observed Blanchard's softball team notch a victory over Eisenhower by a final score of 12-0.

The Lions (15-3) will now prepare for their bout against Sterling (Sterling, OK). The Tigers go into the non-league bout with a 13-5 record. In their last bout, Sterling gained a win over MacArthur (Lawton, OK), 9-1, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the MacArthur Highlanders (Lawton, OK) in a 5A District 1 bout, on Tuesday, September 10. Eisenhower will attempt to better on its 0-11 season record. The Highlanders go into the bout with a 5-10 record after their 9-1 non-league win over Bray-Doyle (Bray, OK).
