In Thursday's non-league match, the host Dale Pirates softball team scored a nice 13-1 victory over the Chickasha Fighting Chicks.
The Pirates (15-1) will now prepare for their match against Shawnee (Shawnee, OK). The Wolves go into the non-league match with a 2-5 record. In their last match, Shawnee was routed by Tecumseh (Tecumseh, OK), 10-0, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Fighting Chicks battle the Prague Red Devils (Prague, OK) in a non-league match, on Thursday, September 5. Chickasha will attempt to better on its 5-13 season record. The Red Devils go into the match with a 7-9 record after their 12-1 league win over Lincoln Christian (Tulsa, OK).
