The Freeman Falcons (Adams, NE) softball nipped the host Malcolm Clippers (Malcolm, NE), 5-4 in Thursday's league outing.

The Falcons now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Milford for a C District outing on Thursday, September 5. Freeman will encounter a Eagles team coming off a 10-2 league win over Wilber-Clatonia (Wilber, NE). The Eagles record now stands at 5-1.
