Oklahoma High School Softball - Little Axe gets by Sallisaw

In Thursday's non-league match, the host Little Axe Indians softball team scored a tight 7-6 victory over the Sallisaw Black Diamonds.
The Indians (4-4) will now prepare for their match against Eufaula (Eufaula, OK). The Ironheads go into the non-league match with a 16-0 record. In their last match, Eufaula tipped Okemah (Okemah, OK), 12-0, in a league match.
In their next game, the Black Diamonds battle the Hartshorne Miners (Hartshorne, OK) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 6. Sallisaw will attempt to better on its 2-10 season record. The Miners go into the match with a 5-10 record after their 2-1 league loss to Eufaula (Eufaula, OK).
