The Patriots (5-8) will now prepare for their contest against Glencoe (Glencoe, AL). The Yellowjackets enter the non-league contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Glencoe notched a victory over Cleburne County (Heflin, AL), 2-1, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Eagles meet the Victory Christian Lions (Pell City, AL) in a contest, on Monday, September 9. Appalachian will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Lions enter the contest with a 2-2 record after their 3-2 league loss to Jefferson Christian Academy (Birmingham, AL).
