Colorado High School Volleyball - Cheraw over La Veta

Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Cheraw Wolverines (Cheraw, CO) and the host La Veta Redhawks (La Veta, CO), observed Cheraw's volleyball team top La Veta by a count of 3-0.

The Wolverines (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Granada (Granada, CO). The Bobcats enter the 1A High Plains contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Granada notched a victory over Kim/Branson (Kim, CO), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Redhawks battle the Kiowa Indians (Kiowa, CO) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 6. La Veta will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Indians enter the contest with a 1-2 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Genoa-Hugo/Karval (Hugo, CO).
