With the win, Clarion-Limestone advances its record to 5-1 on the season. The Lions host Punxsutawney (Punxsutawney, PA) to face the Chucks in a non-league test on Monday, September 9. The Chucks go into the test with a record of 0-0.

The Berries now sport a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oil City for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 10. Cranberry Area will face a Oilers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Redbank Valley (New Bethlehem, PA). The Oilers record now stands at 0-3.
