In Thursday's league match, the Draughn Wildcats (Valdese, NC) volleyball squad prevailed the host Mitchell Mountaineers (Bakersville, NC), by a final score of 3-0.

Next up, the Wildcats confront the Madison Patriots (Marshall, NC) in a Western Highlands 1A/2A match, on Tuesday, September 10. Draughn will attempt to advance on its 8-3 season record.
