In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Hercules Titans volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the Richmond Oilers.

The Titans (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Salesian College Preparatory (Richmond, CA). The Pride enter the Tri-County challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Salesian College Preparatory was beaten by Berean Christian (Walnut Creek, CA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Oilers meet the El Cerrito Gauchos (El Cerrito, CA) in a Tri-County challenge, on Monday, September 9. Richmond will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Gauchos enter the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 3-0 league win over De Anza (El Sobrante, CA).
