The Jennings County Panthers volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Seymour Owls to 0 in the Panthers league triumph on Thursday.

The Panthers now have a 9-1 record. They play next when they travel to Greenwood for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 7. Jennings County will play a Woodmen team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Shelbyville (Shelbyville, IN). The Woodmen record now stands at 1-11.

With the loss, Seymour drops to 8-3 on the campaign. The Owls host Scottsburg (Scottsburg, IN) to play the Warriors in a non-league outing on Thursday, September 12. The Warriors come into the outing with a record of 8-5. Scottsburg won 3-1 in their recent non-league outing against South Ripley (Versailles, IN)
