In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Mackinaw City Comets volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the North Michigan Christian Academy Comets.

The Comets (3-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Ellsworth (Ellsworth, MI). The Lancers come into the Freelance challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Ellsworth beat Wolverine (Wolverine, MI), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Comets play the Boyne Falls Loggers (Boyne Falls, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 10. North Michigan Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
