With the win, Murray improves its record to 8-2 on the season. The Tigers host Graves County (Mayfield, KY) to face the Eagles in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 10. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 2-3. Graves County won 3-0 in their recent league test against Mayfield (Mayfield, KY)

The Braves now own a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Webster County for a District 6 test on Monday, September 9. Union County will face a Trojans squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Hopkins County Central (Madisonville, KY). The Trojans record now stands at 2-2.
