In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Myrtle Point Bobcats volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Rogue River Chieftains.

The Bobcats (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Camas Valley (Camas Valley, OR). The Hornets come into the non-league challenge with a 4-0 record. In their last challenge, Camas Valley beat Sherman (Moro, OR), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Chieftains meet the Gold Beach Panthers (Gold Beach, OR) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 10. Rogue River will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 0-0 non-league Powers (Powers, OR).
