In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Trinity Blazers volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Nazareth Academy Roadrunners.

The Blazers (4-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Glenbard North (Carol Stream, IL). The Panthers enter the non-league challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Glenbard North was beaten by Glenbard East (Lombard, IL), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Roadrunners meet the Marist RedHawks (Chicago, IL) in a East Suburban Catholic challenge, on Tuesday, September 10. Nazareth Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record.
