In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Taylor County Vikings volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Stewart County Royal Knights .

The Vikings (8-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Thomasville (Thomasville, GA). The Bulldogs come into the 1A Area 1 challenge with a 5-7 record. In their last challenge, Thomasville beat Cook (Adel, GA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Royal Knights meet the Brooks County Trojans (Quitman, GA) in a 1A Area 1 challenge, on Thursday, September 12. Stewart County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 7-6 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Hamilton County (Jasper, FL).
