The Albemarle Patriots football team (Charlottesville, VA), was crushed 49-0 in Friday's non-league contest with the visiting Fleming Colonels (Roanoke, VA)
The Colonels (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Salem (Salem, VA). The Spartans enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Salem was trounced by Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA), 31-21, in a non-league contest.
Coming up next, the Patriots battle the Riverbend Bears (Fredericksburg, VA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 19. Albemarle will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record.
