Texas High School Football - Aledo beat Lancaster

September 5, 2025: Lancaster, TX 75146

The Aledo Bearcats football squad scored 18 points and limited the host Lancaster Tigers to 0 in the Bearcats non-league triumph on Friday.

The Bearcats now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Brewer for a 5A-1 Region I District 3 test on Friday, September 12. Aledo will clash with a Bears squad coming off a 14-10 non-league win over Lake Dallas (Corinth, TX). The Bears record now stands at 2-0.

With the defeat, Lancaster drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Hebron (Carrollton, TX) to clash with the Hawks in a non-league test on Friday, September 12. The Hawks come into the test with a record of 1-1. Hebron lost 35-7 in their recent non-league test against Southlake Carroll (Southlake, TX)
