The Urbandale J-Hawks walloped the visiting Ames Little Cyclones football team by a score of 41-3 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the J-Hawks face the Valley Tigers (West Des Moines, IA) in a challenge, on Friday, September 12. Urbandale will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Tigers enter the game with a 1-1 record after their 27-24 non-league loss to Northwest (Waukee, IA).
The Little Cyclones (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Johnston (Johnston, IA). The Dragons enter the 5A Group 3 outing with a 1-1 record. In their last outing, Johnston was overwhelmed by Dowling Catholic (West Des Moines, IA), 31-10, in a non-league outing.
