Washington, DC High School Football - Anacostia smashes Friendly

The Anacostia Indians (Washington, DC) football trounced the visiting Friendly Patriots (Fort Washington, MD), 36-0 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Indians now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Roosevelt for a non-league outing on Friday, September 12. Anacostia will clash with a Roughriders squad coming off a 49-20 non-league loss to Indian Valley (Gnadenhutten, OH). The Roughriders record now stands at 0-2.

With the defeat, Friendly drops to 0-1 on the year. The Patriots host KIPP College Prep (Washington, DC) to face the Panthers in a non-league game on Saturday, September 13. The Panthers come into the outing with a record of 1-0. KIPP College Prep won 50-20 in their recent non-league outing against Phelps Architecture, Construction & Engineering (Washington, DC)
