Mills University Studies Comets (Little Rock, AR) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Ashdown Panthers (Ashdown, AR), 43-12 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Mills University Studies improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Comets host Blytheville (Blytheville, AR) to meet the Chickasaws in a non-league match on Friday, September 19. The Chickasaws come into the match with a record of 1-0.

Coming up next, the Panthers meet the Hope Bobcats (Hope, AR) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 12. Ashdown will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Bobcats come into the match with a 0-1 record after their 47-20 non-league loss to Nashville (Nashville, AR).
