The Flambeau Falcons football squad scored 48 points and limited the host Athens Bluejays to 12 in the Falcons league triumph on Friday.

The Falcons now sport a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Hurley for a Northwoods - East (8 Man) test on Friday, September 12. Flambeau will meet a Northstars squad coming off a 44-8 league win over Prentice (Prentice, WI). The Northstars record now stands at 3-0.

With the defeat, Athens drops to 2-1 on the campaign. The Bluejays travel to Bruce (Bruce, WI) to meet the Red Raiders in a non-league test on Thursday, September 11. The Red Raiders enter the challenge with a record of 0-3. Bruce lost 16-6 in their recent league challenge against Northwood/Solon Springs (Minong, WI)
