The Melbourne Bearkatz walloped the host Bald Knob Bulldogs football team by a score of 40-6 in Friday's non-league test.
The Bearkatz now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Cave City for a non-league test on Friday, September 12. Melbourne will meet a Cavemen squad coming off a 52-36 non-league win over Abundant Life (North Little Rock, AR). The Cavemen record now stands at 1-1.
With the defeat, Bald Knob drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Des Arc (Des Arc, AR) to meet the Eagles in a non-league test on Friday, September 12. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 1-0. Des Arc won 52-3 in their recent non-league test against Hazen (Hazen, AR)
