Spring Grove Lions (Spring Grove, MN) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Bethlehem Academy Cardinals (Faribault, MN), 54-0 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Spring Grove improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Lions travel to Houston (Houston, MN) to play the Hurricanes in a District 9 South - East (9 Man) battle on Friday, September 12. The Hurricanes go into the battle with a record of 1-1. Houston lost 32-14 in their recent league battle against Mabel-Canton (Mabel, MN)
The Cardinals now have a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Wabasha-Kellogg for a non-league match on Saturday, September 13.
