The Bishop Heelan Catholic Crusaders football squad scored 27 points and limited the host Le Mars Bulldogs to 12 in the Crusaders non-league triumph on Friday.
The Crusaders now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Sioux City East for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 12. Bishop Heelan Catholic will face a Black Raiders team coming off a 23-13 non-league win over Norwalk (Norwalk, IA). The Black Raiders record now stands at 2-0.
The Bulldogs (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Sioux Center (Sioux Center, IA). The Warriors go into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Sioux Center toppled Sheldon (Sheldon, IA), 35-13, in a non-league test.
