North Carolina High School Football - Burns trounces East Gaston

September 5, 2025: Lawndale, NC 28090

In Friday's league match, the host Burns Bulldogs football squad scored a decisive 52-0 victory over the East Gaston Warriors.

With the win, Burns advances its record to 1-2 on the season. The Bulldogs host Lincolnton (Lincolnton, NC) to play the Wolves in a Southern Piedmont 2A/3A/4A battle on Friday, September 12. The Wolves go into the battle with a record of 2-1. Lincolnton won 28-0 in their recent league battle against Cherryville (Cherryville, NC)

The Warriors now own a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lincolnton for a Southern Piedmont 2A/3A/4A match on Friday, September 19.
