California High School Football - Kennedy over Canyon

September 5, 2025: Canyon Country, CA 91351

Spectators at Friday's non-league bout between the Kennedy Cougars (Granada Hills, CA) and the host Canyon Cowboys (Canyon Country, CA), saw Kennedy's football team gain a win over Canyon by a final score of 29-21.

With the win, Kennedy advances its record to 2-1 on the season. The Cougars host Granada Hills Charter (Granada Hills, CA) to encounter the Highlanders in a non-league bout on Friday, September 12. The Highlanders go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Granada Hills Charter lost 59-44 in their recent non-league bout against Palisades (Pacific Palisades, CA)

The Cowboys now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Crespi for a non-league bout on Friday, September 12. Canyon will encounter a Celts team coming off a 44-16 non-league win over Cleveland (Reseda, CA). The Celts record now stands at 3-0.
