The Caravel Academy Buccaneers felled the host Red Lion Christian Academy Lions football squad by a margin of 42-18 in Friday's league test.
The Buccaneers now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host St. Georges Tech for a non-league test on Friday, September 12. Caravel Academy will meet a Hawks squad coming off a 35-20 non-league win over St. Mark's (Wilmington, DE). The Hawks record now stands at 2-0.
With the defeat, Red Lion Christian Academy drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Lions host Delaware County Christian (Newtown Square, PA) to meet the Knights in a non-league test on Friday, September 12. The Knights come into the test with a record of 0-2. Delaware County Christian lost 54-8 in their recent non-league test against Archbishop Carroll (Radnor, PA)
