Alabama High School Football - Elmore County tops Carroll

September 5, 2025: Ozark, AL 36360

The Elmore County Panthers football squad scored 36 points and limited the host Carroll Eagles to 20 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Panthers now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Holtville for a 5A Region 4 test on Friday, September 12. Elmore County will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 34-31 league win over Sylacauga (Sylacauga, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-1.

With the defeat, Carroll drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Eagles host Charles Henderson (Troy, AL) to meet the Trojans in a 5A Region 2 challenge on Friday, September 12. The Trojans enter the challenge with a record of 2-1. Charles Henderson won 21-13 in their recent league challenge against Greenville (Greenville, AL)
