In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Marion Wolves football team scored a nice 21-12 win over the Center Point-Urbana Stormin' Pointers.
In their next game, the Wolves face the Davenport North Wildcats (Davenport, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 12. Marion will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Wildcats go into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 51-6 non-league loss to Clear Creek-Amana (Tiffin, IA).
The Stormin' Pointers (0-2) will now prepare for their test against Anamosa (Anamosa, IA). The Raiders come into the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Anamosa was defeated by Wahlert (Dubuque, IA), 41-0, in a non-league test.
