North Carolina High School Football - Eastern Alamance holds off Central Davidson

September 5, 2025: Lexington, NC 27292

The Eastern Alamance Eagles (Mebane, NC) football tipped the host Central Davidson Spartans (Lexington, NC), 32-31 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Eagles now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Person for a Mid-Carolina 4A/5A/6A outing on Friday, September 12. Eastern Alamance will clash with a Rockets squad coming off a 47-20 non-league win over Riverside-Durham (Durham, NC). The Rockets record now stands at 2-1.

With the defeat, Central Davidson drops to 2-1 on the year. The Spartans travel to North Davidson (Lexington, NC) to battle the Black Knights in a non-league game on Friday, September 12. The Black Knights enter the game with a record of 3-0. North Davidson won 46-0 in their recent non-league game against Ledford (Thomasville, NC)
