In their next game, the Bronchos face the Cordell Blue Devils (Cordell, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 11. Central will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Blue Devils go into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 46-26 non-league loss to Fox (Fox, OK).

The Pugs (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Thackerville (Thackerville, OK). The Wildcats go into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Thackerville lost by Empire (Duncan, OK), 60-0, in a non-league challenge.
