The Central Falcons football squad scored 35 points and limited the host Paul W. Bryant Stampede to 0 in the Falcons league triumph on Friday.

The Falcons now hold a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bessemer City for a 6A Region 4 test on Friday, September 12. Central will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 42-14 league win over Brookwood (Brookwood, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 3-0.

With the loss, Paul W. Bryant moves to 0-3 on the season. The Stampede travel to Hueytown (Hueytown, AL) to face the Golden Gophers in a 6A Region 4 challenge on Friday, September 12. The Golden Gophers go into the challenge with a record of 0-2. Hueytown lost 30-27 in their recent non-league challenge against Mountain Brook (Birmingham, AL)
