The Nicholas County Grizzlies football team (Summersville, WV), dropped 24-12 in Friday's non-league bout with the visiting Chapmanville Regional Tigers (Chapmanville, WV)

With the victory, Chapmanville Regional betters its record to 2-0 on the year. The Tigers host Midland Trail (Hico, WV) to confront the Patriots in a non-league contest on Friday, September 19. The Patriots enter the contest with a record of 2-0.

Coming up next, the Grizzlies confront the Shady Spring Tigers (Shady Spring, WV) in a Coalfield AA bout, on Friday, September 12. Nicholas County will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record.
