Ohio High School Football - McDowell defeated by Chardon

September 5, 2025: Chardon, OH 44024

The Chardon Hilltoppers were victorious over the visiting McDowell Trojans football team by a score of 26-9 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Hilltoppers face the Perry Pirates (Perry, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 12. Chardon will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Pirates enter the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 44-24 non-league loss to Kirtland (Kirtland, OH).

The Trojans (0-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Erie (Erie, PA). The Royals enter the District 10 Region 6 challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Erie lost by Austintown-Fitch (Youngstown, OH), 28-0, in a non-league challenge.
