The Chelan Mountain Goats were victorious over the visiting College Place Hawks football team by a score of 33-6 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Mountain Goats face the Brewster Bears (Brewster, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 12. Chelan will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Bears enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 30-14 non-league loss to Reardan (Reardan, WA).
The Hawks (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Royal (Royal City, WA). The Knights enter the 1A South Central challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Royal ran past Kiona-Benton (Benton City, WA), 68-0, in a league challenge.
