Ohio High School Football - Columbia triumphant over Northwestern

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Columbia Raiders (Columbia Station, OH) and the visiting Northwestern Huskies (West Salem, OH), witnessed Columbia's football squad wallop Northwestern by a tally of 49-0.

The Raiders (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Wellington (Wellington, OH). The Dukes go into the Lorain County bout with a 2-1 record. In their last bout, Wellington smashed Plymouth (Plymouth, OH), 22-6, in a non-league bout.

The Huskies now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Norwayne for a Wayne County bout on Friday, September 12. Northwestern will encounter a Bobcats team coming off a 36-35 non-league loss to Garaway (Sugarcreek, OH). The Bobcats record now stands at 1-2.
