North Carolina High School Football - Metrolina Christian Academy winner over Covenant Day

The Metrolina Christian Academy Warriors (Indian Trail, NC) football knocked off the visiting Covenant Day Lions (Matthews, NC), 28-0 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Warriors now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Charlotte Latin for a non-league game on Friday, September 12. Metrolina Christian Academy will battle a Hawks team coming off a 63-0 non-league win over SouthLake Christian Academy (Huntersville, NC). The Hawks record now stands at 3-0.

The Lions (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Charlotte Country Day School (Charlotte, NC). The Buccaneers enter the non-league game with a 3-0 record. In their last game, Charlotte Country Day School notched a victory over Ben L. Smith (Greensboro, NC), 31-15, in a non-league game.
