The Crestwood Cadets overwhelmed the host Decorah-North Winneshiek Vikings football squad by a count of 49-6 in Friday's non-league test.
The Cadets now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Independence for a non-league test on Friday, September 12. Crestwood will face a Mustangs team coming off a 45-7 non-league win over Washington (Washington, IA). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-0.
The Vikings (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Wahlert (Dubuque, IA). The Golden Eagles go into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Wahlert bounced Anamosa (Anamosa, IA), 41-0, in a non-league challenge.
