Texas High School Football - Nimitz trounces Cypress Ridge

In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Nimitz Cougars football team scored a big 50-16 win over the Cypress Ridge Rams.

In their next game, the Cougars play the Beaumont United Timberwolves (Beaumont, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 12. Nimitz will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Timberwolves go into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 45-7 non-league loss to Port Neches-Groves (Port Neches, TX).

The Rams (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Langham Creek (Houston, TX). The Lobos go into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Langham Creek bounced Jersey Village (Houston, TX), 54-3, in a non-league challenge.
