Virginia High School Football - Daniel Boone overwhelmed by Union

In Friday's non-league game, the Union Bears (Big Stone Gap, VA) football squad trounced the visiting Daniel Boone Trailblazers (Gray, TN), by a margin of 62-6.

The Bears now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Graham for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 11. Union will clash with a G-Men squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Galax (Galax, VA). The G-Men record now stands at 1-1.

With the defeat, Daniel Boone drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Trailblazers host Sevier County (Sevierville, TN) to clash with the Smoky Bears in a 5A Region 1 outing on Friday, September 12. The Smoky Bears come into the outing with a record of 2-0. Sevier County won 41-7 in their recent non-league outing against Jefferson County (Dandridge, TN)
