In Friday's league battle, the visiting D.C. Everest Evergreens football team scored a big 41-6 win over the Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln Red Raiders.

With the win, D.C. Everest improves its record to 1-2 on the season. The Evergreens host Wausau West (Wausau, WI) to play the Warriors in a Wisconsin Valley battle on Friday, September 12. The Warriors go into the battle with a record of 2-1. Wausau West won 35-21 in their recent league battle against Eau Claire North (Eau Claire, WI)

The Red Raiders now have a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Stevens Point for a Wisconsin Valley battle on Friday, September 12. Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln will play a Panthers squad coming off a 56-21 league win over Eau Claire Memorial (Eau Claire, WI). The Panthers record now stands at 3-0.
