Mississippi High School Football - Tunica Academy loses to Deer Creek

September 5, 2025: Tunica, MS 38676

Deer Creek Warriors (Arcola, MS) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Tunica Academy Blue Devils (Tunica, MS), 38-18 in a non-league match.

The Warriors (3-0) will now prepare for their match against Delta Academy (Marks, MS). The Raiders enter the MAIS 8-Man 1A District 1 (8 Man) match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Delta Academy thwarted Marvell Academy (Marvell, AR), 64-46, in a non-league match.

Coming up next, the Blue Devils confront the Delta Streets Academy Lions (Greenwood, MS) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 12. Tunica Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Lions enter the match with a 1-2 record after their 29-28 non-league loss to Central Holmes Christian (Lexington, MS).
