Texas High School Football - Franklin falls to Del Valle

September 5, 2025: El Paso, TX 79907

The Del Valle Conquistadores felled the visiting Franklin Cougars football team by a score of 40-30 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Conquistadores face the El Paso Tigers (El Paso, TX) in a 5A-2 Region I District 1 challenge, on Friday, September 12. Del Valle will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Tigers go into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 37-14 non-league win over Mountain View (El Paso, TX).

With the defeat, Franklin drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Cougars host Monterey (Lubbock, TX) to meet the Plainsmen in a non-league test on Friday, September 12. The Plainsmen come into the test with a record of 1-1. Monterey won 24-21 in their recent non-league test against Wylie (Abilene, TX)
