In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Dexter Bearcats football squad scored a good 39-24 triumph over the Sikeston Bulldogs.
The Bearcats (2-0) will now prepare for their match against New Madrid County Central (New Madrid, MO). The Eagles go into the SE Missouri - South challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, New Madrid County Central toppled East Prairie (East Prairie, MO), 44-40, in a league challenge.
The Bulldogs (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Central (Cape Girardeau, MO). The Tigers go into the SE Missouri - North challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Central knocked off St. Charles West (St. Charles, MO), 26-7, in a non-league test.
