The Eleanor Roosevelt Raiders football team scored 7 points and held the visiting Digital Pioneers Academy Pythons to 0 in the Raiders non-league victory on Friday.
In their next game, the Raiders face the Flowers Jaguars (Springdale, MD) in a Class 4A South game, on Friday, September 12. Eleanor Roosevelt will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Jaguars enter the game with a 1-0 record after their 23-7 non-league win over Eastern (Washington, DC).
The Pythons (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Surrattsville (Clinton, MD). The Hornets enter the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Surrattsville held off Lewis (Baltimore, MD), 6-0, in a non-league game.
