In Friday's non-league match, the host Pleasant Valley Raiders football squad scored a decisive 55-0 triumph over the Donoho Falcons.
The Raiders (3-0) will now prepare for their battle against Pisgah (Pisgah, AL). The Eagles go into the 2A Region 7 battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Pisgah walloped Section (Section, AL), 52-6, in a league battle.
The Falcons now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Wadley for a 1A Region 6 battle on Friday, September 12. Donoho will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 56-27 league win over Fayetteville (Sylacauga, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-0.
